Music of the Week - 盧廣仲 Crowd Lu - 藍寶 rainbow

So I am at this awkward transitional phase of life where I am finished with university and awaiting for the first real job of my career. Coincidentally, mom and dad have left for vacation during this period of time, leaving me alone at home. Many, many friends have been asking me the same question over and over again: what do I do alone at home everyday?!

Well besides the daily job search, my life in the past few weeks consisted of the following routine: prancing (and a bit of moping) around in my pj's, cooking, looking through flyers like a true housewife, house chores and... baking. I recently bought a KitchenAid stand mixer from The Bay at 50% off (and the last one by the way; I walked away feeling like a warrior from a battlefield) and haven't quite gotten over that 'new appliance' obsession yet. Yup, the life of the unemployed.

I've also developed a habit of listening to a HK radio station everyday, 903 早霸王. Although they seem to play the same damn songs every single day, today was different - they played this song. And from just hearing it once, I loved it. It does a fantastic job of perking you up on these chilly, gloomy autumn days.

盧廣仲 Crowd Lu - 藍寶 which means "blue treasure" if translated literally. But if you pronounce it in Mandarin, it sounds like "rainbow" which is what the song is about :)
